The Tyrannosaurus Rex, or T-Rex, is arguably the most famous dinosaur of all time. This fearsome predator lived approximately 68 to 66 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period, in North America.
T-Rex Characteristics
The T-Rex measured up to 40 feet long and weighed about 9 tons. Its teeth, as long as bananas, could measure up to 12 inches! Despite its small arms, it was one of the largest land predators ever.
Coloring Tips
When coloring a T-Rex, you can use various colors! Scientists don't know the true color of dinosaurs, so let your imagination run wild: green, brown, gray, or even striped patterns like tigers.
