The Diplodocus is one of the longest dinosaurs ever discovered. This herbivorous giant lived about 154 to 152 million years ago, during the Jurassic, in North America.
Diplodocus Characteristics
The Diplodocus measured up to 90 feet long, much of which was its tail and neck! It weighed about 15 tons. Its whip-like tail could crack faster than the speed of sound to scare predators.
